Our World Cup season....

It's the time of the year again where Barista get glued with their laptop, watching live streaming of the World Barista Championship 2012 in Vienna. It's very fortunate that the time difference is on our side. Start to finish of both days first round is from 2pm-11pm SG time. :) no late nights!

I couldn't really managed to catch all performances due to work. In fact, I only watched 5 full sets of nationalities competing, Daniel Mandez from El Salvador being one of them, and what a joy he bring to the table! Finally, after Alessandro Mendez who uses all the advantages of coming from an origin country to won the 2012 WBC, another compatriot from El Salvador, also when full steam, depulping coffee cherries live to use cascara and beans with mucilage as a part of signature beverage. If you can't go to a farm, you bring the farm to you!

I am inspired and am very sure that WBC 2013 in Melbourne will be a kick ass one.
